Building:
10,708 gross S.F. Construction consisted of standard concrete spread footing and foundation wall, concrete slab on grade, load bearing concrete brick and light gauge metal framing with EIFS, and single ply membrane roof system over metal deck and steel bar joists.
Design Summary:
Soos & Associates was asked to navigate & shepherd the entire design process; starting with Conceptual Planning, Entitlement approval, Construction Drawings through Construction Administration. A challenging site which involved lengthy approval processes with the Village of Buffalo Grove, State Road Access, as well as, designing a building pad within an identified Flood Zone.
